The student will be able to (TSWBAT) move appropriately in the warm up in
order to have a proper warm up that raises the heart rate, prepares the body
for activity, and prevents injury. TSWBAT feel an increased level of
well-being due to increased level of physical activity.
TSWBAT run and move in coordination with a group of students and line up
quickly to accomplish the task at hand.
TSWBAT acquire a wide range of fitness, strength exercises, stretches,
and poses that will enhance the students perspective on fitness and wellness
over all.
TSWBAT increase their heart rate and keep it elevated for a
prolonged time during the fitness workout.
TSWBAT follow new exercises and become familiar with physical challenges
to prepare them for future pursuits in fitness that will provide a
strong foundation to who to keep themselves healthy throughout life. TSWBAT pass a ball efficiently back and forth without
losing control of the ball 3 consecutive times.
TSWBAT control a ball while moving the ball around the floor without loosing
control of the ball. TSWBAT shot against the wall or partner by using draw shot, wrist shot, and backhand
shot.
TSWBAT try to keep control of their own ball by
keeping it inside the green circle while moving inside the green circle, as
they try to knock out the ball of other students in Hockey Knock Out.

TSWBAT know, understand, and apply the concept of social responsibility by
grading themselves after the lesson. TSWBAT know, understand, and apply
the concept of student expectations and Boone 5 throughout every situation in the
gymnasium.
TSWBAT lead by example how to present Boone 5 and student expectations.
TSWBAT know, understand, and apply the concept of the fitness exercises
by applying the five components of fitness, FITT principle, and the six
muscle groups.
TSWBAT recollect where their personal seat is, and how it aids the
students ability to follow the rules and to be team players.
TSWBAT feel that they are in control of their behavior by
self-assessment at the end of the class. (1, 2, or 3)
TSWBAT feel enjoyment by being more successful due to an increased level of
personal involvement through their grading.
TSWBAT reduce stress with physical activity, since increased physical
activity increases blood circulation, which helps removal of glucocorticoids
(a hormone that induce stress.)
TSWBAT practice to apply the rules of floor hockey.
TSWBAT understand that the most efficient way of moving the ball is by
using both the back and front part of the blade of the hockey stick and
proper body position, which will enhance self-efficacy in regards to floor
hockey.

TSWBAT feel that they belong in the class as much as everyone else by have
equal expectations for everyone. TSWBAT learn how to receive constructive
criticism in regards to enhance their skill and ability as a player
and leader, which enhances team work.
TSWBAT feel enjoyment and success through increased participation in all
class activities.
TSWBAT feel social enjoyment through increased level of success as well as
increased level of personal involvement in their homework, which enhances
their overall health.
TSWBAT feel an increased level of community and togetherness due to increased level of
physical activity in group setting.

Play hockey against a partner by roll the ball between the arms in push up
position. Try to stop scoring by catching the ball with one hand while only
feet and hand touches the ground
Safety:
Blade below waist
Upper hand at the end of the stick
Control ball, use both side of the blade.
Use the stick as an extension of arm, and be soft when receiving a pass.
