VASEBALL

Description:

The idea is similar to baseball, but instead of a diamond the students use a volleyball court with out a net.  The students are broken up into teams of seven, which place themselves wherever they want in the court, however it is suggested that they are close and make it easy for their server who tries to serve a "nice" ball to them that they can play.  The server then tries to run around the volleyball court while the other team members tries to keep the ball going without falling on the ground.  If the student runs around once without the ball hitting the ground the team gets one point.  The teams switch between serves, as on team is merely observing the other team while they try to score a run.

Purpose of Vaseball:
• Introduction to competition
• Practice serving in a fun and game-like atmosphere
• Practice receiving a serve in a fun and game-like atmosphere
• Practice passing a volleyball in a fun and game-like atmosphere
