ABOUT THE TEACHER

500

Description:

500 is a lead up game to sports where a ball is incorporated such as a baseball, soccer, football, or basketball, etc.  One student is the passer who says a number between 50 and 400, which will be points offered if someone catches the ball.  After the number has been announced the student throws the ball up in the air. If a student catches the ball he or she receives the points that were announced.  The student who caught the ball becomes the next passer who also announces a number between 50 and 400.  The student has to remember the points, as the goal is to reach 500.  If a student receives a score above 500, then they will subtract whatever number is announced.  The end of the game is when one student has received 500 points, which means that the game has to restart and all students now have 0 points again.
